The Dept. was established in the year 1963 and is one of the pioneering departments of the prestigious Amar Singh College. The Dept. offers pass courses in undergraduate level and also offers One year undergraduate course in Modern Indian Languages (MIL). The department has produced thousands of graduates, who have excelled in different walks of life including academics. The scheme and syllabi of the programs are prepared by the Board of studies under the Cluster University, with the main aim to enable students to pursue higher studies and to take up a job in India and Abroad.
