The College started the Media Studies as a core subject from 2021-22 academic session at UG level upon joining of one regular Assistant Professor in January 2021 against a sanctioned post of Assistant Professor in Mass Communication and Multimedia Production. The College offers Media Studies as a core subject in combination with Political Science and Sociology. The syllabus includes Print Journalism, TV & Video Production and online journalism. The introduction of Media Studies as a Core Paper aims to enhance the communication skills and media understanding of the students making them more employable.
