Established in 1998, the department of Sociology is one among the premier departments of Amar Singh College. The department offers three (03) years of B. A programme for undergraduate students. Choice Based Credit System was started w.e.f. 2016.Presently there are two permanent faculty, Dr Shabnam Ara and Ms. Shafia Mahudin.
